Zero Motorcycles reveals 2016 model line including FSX supermoto

Zero Motorcycles today unveiled their complete line of 2016 motorcycles. The California-based manufacturer promises increased battery efficiency to improve range and battery capacities across the board while adding two new models and other accessories. The first new model is the DSR which is a dual-sport bike with a 70-hp motor. The other newbie is a supermoto called FXS powered by a 44hp electric motor. Mahindra GenZe 2.0 electric scooter to launch in the U.S. soon

A cheap, fast way of individual city transportation – many companies are currently working to achieve this goal. The newest one is GenZe, a small company in Silicon Valley, owned by Indian conglomerate Mahindra & Mahindra. GenZe is set to launch its new electric scooter in the coming months, and the minimalistic-looking electric scooter already has 300 bookings. Storm – racing around the world in 80 days on the first ever electric touring motorcycle

A student team in Eindhoven, Holland last week unveiled the design of its electric touring motor cycle. With this motorcycle the university students intend to take part in the 80 Day Race around the world in 2016. The touring bike set to be the first ever electric touring motorcycle with an impressive range and a modular battery pack. Saroléa SP7 all-carbon electric superbike debuts – Video

Belgian bike manufacturer, Sarolea has pulled the covers off of the SP7 at the Autoworld show in Brussels. The new machine will try and make it it onto the podium in the SES TT Zero Challenge Race at the Isle of Man TT. The bike features lots and lots of carbon and titanium parts, a large electric motor and is capable of doing 168 mph. Lito Sora: new electric motorcycle from Canada

Canadian firm Lito - Green Motion has introduced a new electric motorcycle. The Sora features the best design elements of Bobber and Cafe Racer/Street Fighter bikes, combined in one electric superbike. The Bobber influence can be seen in the rear fender that is fixed to the wheel, while the Street Fighter influence can be seen in the dynamics of the front of the bike. Screwdriver-powered vehicle “EX”

Excentricity is defined as a deviation from what is ordinary or customary. To match this definition, four guys - Nils Ferber, Sebastian Auray, Ruben Faber and Ludolf von Oldershausen - couldn´t just modify an existing vehicle but had to start designing something new from scratch. The result is a completely new driving concept: The driver lies headlong on his three-wheeled vehicle and accelerates the "EX" with sprawled out arms up to 30 km/h. Read the full article »

Zero Motorcycles has announced its 2011 model line-up and strategy to dominate the zero-emission motorcycle market. The S and DS models were completely redesigned, as well as changing the look of all models. Introducing the Agility Saietta electric sportsbike

The Agility Saietta, revealed at the MCN London Motorcycle Show, is a stylish zero-emission all-electric sports bike. The motorcycle’s name might sound Italian, but the Saietta was designed in the UK by a firm called Agility Global. The bike weighs 500lbs and features a 169hp electric motor. There will be a base version which weighs 400lbs and has a 135hp-motor. Both versions have an air-cooled DC Agni motor which participated in last year’s Isle of Man TT. Read the full article »
