Husqvarna 701 Supermoto on video for the first time

Husqvarna has finally released the first video of its newest bike, the 701 Supermoto. The short video shows us how the bike moves on a proper race track – pretty good we have to say. The engine of the new Husky delivers about 70hp while dry weight is just 145 kg (320lbs) – there’s every chance that the 701 Supermoto will be a real hooligan on the street. New Triumph Bonneville coming in two weeks

The British manufacturer has just confirmed that the new Bonneville will be revealed later this month – most likely at the EICMA show in Italy. The teaser video contains some details and glimpses of the new Bonnie, which will most likely feature a brand new liquid-cooled engine. According to press reports, Triumph is also working on at least two more versions including a cafe racer and a bobber. Stay tuned! Read the full article »

Watch Suzuki GSX-R’s 30 Years of Performance documentary

Ever wondered how Suzuki’s famous GSX-R line was born? Thanks to the 30 Years of Performance documentary, you can follow the history of the Gixxer from the beginning on video. The two-part video finally appeared on Youtube, telling us the story of the GSX-R including the philosophy of „race on Sunday, sell on Monday” and the background of the biggest wins in the many racing series. BMW launches Concept G 310 stunt bike in South America

BMW has just revealed another concept bike – that’s the third one this year, after the Path 22 scrambler concept and the Concept 101 custom bagger. The G 310 has only one goal: to promote BMW’s new entry level, small capacity bike that will be launched at the end of the year. The Bavarian’s newest bike will take on the popular Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the Yamaha R3. To speak about the G 310, it’s an agressively styled stunt bike powered by a newly developed 300cc engine. Read the full article »

Suzuki to restore original GSX-R750 at Motorcycle Live

An original GSX-R750 will be restored on Suzuki’s stand over the course of the Motorcycle Live show. As part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the iconic range of sportsbikes, which will also see a display of some of the classic GSX-Rs from over the years, Suzuki will be stripping the bike down and rebuilding it with refurbished and new components, restoring the machine to its former glory as the original race replica and the bike that set the precedent for every sportsbike since. Read the full article »

Customize your Yamaha with the My Garage app available from iOS and Android

2015 was and is the year of customization for Yamaha. Yamaha Yard Built, the manufacturer’s custom project for European builders is up and running, another similar project was revealed a few months back and they have just revealed an app. Yamaha My Garage is a free app that allows customers to choose a bike from the Sport Heritage series (XSR700, VMAX, XJR1300, XV950 etc.) and explore all the customization options before choosing the parts you want. Read the full article »

Yamaha Yard Built wraps up summer at custom bike show Glamseck in Germany

As the summer draws to a close Yamaha is gearing up to send it off in style at the Glemseck 101 custom bike event in Germany from 4th to 6th September with a massive Yard Built presence. Motorcycle fans can expect to see a stunning line up of well known Yard Built creations from the world’s best custom builders as well as a few new surprises. More than 1,000 women at the Ace Cafe for a World Record attempt

Hundreds of lady bikers will be gathering at the Ace Cafe in North West London todayin an attempt to create a new world record for the largest number of female motorcyclists meeting together in one place. Between 400 and 600 women aged 24 to 65 years are expected to ride to the meeting, coming from as far afield as Ireland and Wales. In September 2014, 221 Australian women on 190 bikes set a record for being the most women riding motorcycles at once. Read the full article »

Polaris Slingshot coming to Europe before the end of the year

Polaris has confirmed that its three-wheel vehicle, the Slingshot, is making its European debut in Q4 2015. Slingshot has been honed for the European market by U.S manufacturer Polaris and will offer petrol-heads a completely new motoring experience. Video: This is how the Yamaha YZF-R6 really sounds

Youtube artist Fresh Big Mouf’s newest project is really interesting. He created a song entirely out of the sounds of a Yamaha YZF-R6. Listening to the result, we have to say that the song is truly unique. He used the sounds of the revving engine, bumps on the tires, kickstarter, helmet and some other parts of the bike.
