2012 Ducati Streetfighter Official Photos

Ducati has announced the 2012 Streetfighter 848. The bike offers the same trellis-framed styling as its big-engined sibling, along with traction control and revised ergonomics. „With the enhanced geometry of a chassis that provides confidence-inspiring agility, the Streetfighter 848 has enriched its user-friendliness with a smooth and flexible power delivery, revised ergonomics and Ducati Traction Control (DTC),” says a press release from Ducati. 2012 Ducati Streetfighter Evo SP comes with a new 170hp engine

As previous reports suggested the Ducati Streetfighter is getting a major facelift next year. The information was leaked by Ducati’s American website. The new Streetfighter Evo SP will feature a brand new engine. The new V-twin delivers 170hp and 97 lb/ft of torque that is exactly what the 1198 Superbike makes and a significant upgrade to the current Streetfighter, which features a 1098cc engine delivering 155hp and 85 lb/ft. Rizoma has created a complete line of accessories to the Ducati Diavel. The kit includes an innovative aluminium handlebar which will improve riding position for some (height 8mm lower, open grip angle of +7°). Rizoma offers the latest side protections for the radiator and frame, the water pump guard, the newest EVO rearsets and two types of license support plates. Museum condition 1999 Ducati 916 for sale

Massimo Tamburini is one of the best designers in the motorcycle industry, he designed bikes such as the Ducati Paso, the MV Agusta F4 and Brutale or the Cagiva Mito. But his best work yet is the 1994-1999 Ducati 916 which was included in the Guggenheim’s Museum The Art of the Motorcycle exhibit of 1998-1999. Now, you can buy yourself a „new” 916 for a reasonable price of €20,000. The seller lives in Monaco, and according to him, it’s probably the lowest mileage 916 in the world, since it has only 42 km (26 miles) on the clock. Read the full article »

The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, also known as „The race to the clouds” is always an exciting bike event of the summer, where cars and bikes face 156 turns on an average grade of 7%. In 2010, a stock Ducati Multistrada 1200 S won in the hands of Pikes Peak’s veteran, Greg Tracy. To celebrate the great victory, Ducati created a special Multistrada. Rumors say that the Ducati Diavel is doing great in sales, but it’s really no surprise. The Italian “power cruiser” looks beautiful, its 1200cc V-twin is powerful, the bike has fully adjustable suspension, front and rear, meaning it’s one of the sportiest nakeds on the market, although it doesn’t have any near rivals. Video: Ducati Diavel vs. Yamaha V-Max quarter mile race

Super Wheels took two of the finest power cruisers currently available on the market – the brutal Yamaha V-Max and the new Ducati Diavel, and organized a race between them. The V-Max is powered by a huge, 1700cc V4 delivering 200hp and 167Nm of torque. The Japanese bike weighs 310kg. The Italian Diavel is lighter, but it’s 1200cc high-tech Testastretta engine produces „just” 162hp. Which one is faster on the track?
