Ducati Desmosedici GP15 unveiled

Ahead of the forthcoming 2015 MotoGP World Championship season, Ducati have presented the new Desmosedici GP15 prototype at a special event in Bologna, Italy. The riders of the team, Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone, helped unveil the new GP15 that will make its on-track debut at the Sepang 2 test before the end of the month. Read the full article »

2015 Ducati Scrambler production begins

Ducati has begun production of its new scrambler at the Bologna factory in Italy. In just six months time since the project was presented to Ducati employees, the bike has entered production. The new model is very important for Ducati since it is the first scrambler after the company stopped manufacturing scramblers 40 years ago. The first bikes off the line was greeted by Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, together with Silvano Fini, Manager of the Borgo Panigale plant. Read the full article »

2012 Ducati Streetfighter Official Photos

Ducati has announced the 2012 Streetfighter 848. The bike offers the same trellis-framed styling as its big-engined sibling, along with traction control and revised ergonomics. „With the enhanced geometry of a chassis that provides confidence-inspiring agility, the Streetfighter 848 has enriched its user-friendliness with a smooth and flexible power delivery, revised ergonomics and Ducati Traction Control (DTC),” says a press release from Ducati. 2012 Ducati Streetfighter Evo SP comes with a new 170hp engine

As previous reports suggested the Ducati Streetfighter is getting a major facelift next year. The information was leaked by Ducati’s American website. The new Streetfighter Evo SP will feature a brand new engine. The new V-twin delivers 170hp and 97 lb/ft of torque that is exactly what the 1198 Superbike makes and a significant upgrade to the current Streetfighter, which features a 1098cc engine delivering 155hp and 85 lb/ft. Museum condition 1999 Ducati 916 for sale

Massimo Tamburini is one of the best designers in the motorcycle industry, he designed bikes such as the Ducati Paso, the MV Agusta F4 and Brutale or the Cagiva Mito. But his best work yet is the 1994-1999 Ducati 916 which was included in the Guggenheim’s Museum The Art of the Motorcycle exhibit of 1998-1999. Now, you can buy yourself a „new” 916 for a reasonable price of €20,000. The seller lives in Monaco, and according to him, it’s probably the lowest mileage 916 in the world, since it has only 42 km (26 miles) on the clock. Read the full article »
