Giorgio Armani Vespa 946 Emporio revealed

Giorgio Armani has just took the wraps off a new special Vespa, the 946 Emporio. The scooter is set to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the foundation of Giorgio Armani and the 130th birthday of the Piaggio Group. The 946 was named after the year 1946 and was developed jointly by Giorgio Armani and Piaggio to celebrate two of Italy’s most established symbols of style and creativity. In keeping with Armani’s signature subdued colour palette, the designer has come up with a special combination of greys with subtle hints of green visible only under particular light conditions for the project. Read the full article »

MotoGP-derived Honda RC213V-S street bike arrived

Honda has finally revealed its much anticipated RC213V-S bike. The bike look pretty cool with its red-white-blue lievery but the performance of the base model – 159hp and 102Nm (75 lb-ft)– is a bit disappointing. Installing a racing kit makes things a little brighter, as the engine is said to deliver 215hp. In addition to that, installing the racing kit makes the bike 10kg lighter. And what does this all cost? The base version will retail for €188,000 in Europe and $184,000 in the U.S. Read the full article »

2016 Yamaha YZ250F First Look

Yamaha has just announced an upgraded YZ-250 for the 2016 model year. One of the best off-road bike in its class now features a redesigned engine with more high-rpm performance, new clutch, revised front and rear suspension, and better brakes. Yamaha MT-25 for the Asian market launched

Yamaha has launched its new naked bike for the Indonesian market. The MT-25 is a naked streetbike featuring a 249cc parallel twin, comfortable riding position for the city and modern styling. Weighing 165kg dry, it’s a fairly light bike while the engine delivers around 35hp. 2016 Kawasaki Z800 ABS First Look

Kawasaki announced this week its new middleweight naked bike – the Z800 ABS. The newest member of the Kawasaki family features the well-known aggressive, stripped-down styling, a torquey 806cc four-cylinder, KYB suspension, and retails for $8,399. With this MSRP, the bike is cheaper than the Z1000 but costs slightly more than the Yamaha FZ-09. The new Z800 arrives in dealerships this fall. Read the full article »

Upgraded 2016 Yamaha YZ450F and 60th Anniversary Limited Edition model arrived

Yamaha has just announced a series of 2016 models, including 50, 85, 110, 125, 250 and 450cc off-road bikes. Most of the TTR and YZ models got a new colour for the 2016 model year but Yamaha did some more important changes on the YZ450F. The largest YZ now features better brakes, more mid- and low-range power, better clutch and an upgraded chassis. Peugeot announced the 50cc version of the Django scooter

Peugeot's „neo-retro” Django scooter will be available with the option of a 50cc engine in time for Summer 2015. Already produced with a choice of 125cc and 150cc motors, the 50cc version of the Django can be ridden on an AM licence, making it accessible to anyone aged 16 or over. AM category scooters can also be ridden by anyone who passed their car driving test before 1st February 2001, without the need to take any extra tests. Read the full article »

Upgraded Kawasaki KX450F for 2015 hits the market

Kawasaki has just unveiled an all-new KX450F for the new model year. The manufacturer did a series of upgrades on the bike, including a skinnier chassis with greater rigidity, a lighter but more powerful engine, new suspension elements and new exhaust. The bike also comes with a handheld calibration kit that allows for easy fuel injection changes. The all-ew Kawasaki KX450F will retail for $8799. Read the full article »

2015 Genuine Buddy 50 and 125cc scooters now available in titanium

The name Genuine Scooters doesn’t sound very familiar in Europe but it’s the largest U.S.-based scooter company. The manufacturer has now announced a new color option to its popular Buddy line of scooters, titanium gloss. The scooter is not overly complicated and well-known reliable and has an accessable price point. The Buddy 50 Titanium will retail for $1,999 while the 125cc Buddy Titanium will cost $2,699. Read the full article »
