2016 Kawasaki Z1000SX updated with slipper clutch and ABS

As part of its 2016 updates, the 2016 edition of the Z1000SX gets the addition of slipper clutch, ABS and new colour options. The semi-naked sports-touring machine has dominated the sports touring segment since its launch a few years ago, and also comes with a host of upgrades: an FCC Assist and Slipper Clutch, ABS as standard and new colour options with the added bonus of no price increase. Read the full article »

Peugeot Metropolis Blue-Line special edition revealed

The scooter division of Peugeot has just revealed a new special edition of its Metropolis three-wheeler. The Metropolis Blue-Line features two-tone blue and black bodywork, black engine casing, black wheels with blue detailing and low profile adjustable smoked screen. The scooter comes with a two-year uunlimited mileage warranty and it costs £7,199 in the United Kingdom. Read the full article »

Harley-Davidson reveals 2016 model lineup

More power for 2016 - that’s Harley Davidson’s message for the next model year. ItS all about bigger engines, upgraded powertrains, more power, more torque. Bigger engines will go into the company's Fat Boy, Slim and Softail models. The Softail models also get an upgrade to the High Output Twin Cam 103 engines, previously available only in Harley's larger touring bikes, as will all the Dyna models except the Street Bob. Other new bikes on the lineup include the Forty-Eight motorcycle, the Iron 883 bike and the 2016 CVO Limited model. Read the full article »

Confederate P51 Combat Fighter second generation revealed

Confederate Motors has just revealed the second generation of the extreme-looking P51 Combat Fighter. Like its hugely successful predecessor, the Combat Fighter is inspired by the 1960’s rebel, anti-hero and the stripped, raw, chopper he rode. The bike is lighter than its predecessor and it has drag racing derived powertrain. Horsepower? 200. MSRP? $113,900. Number of bikes to be built? 61 units. Read the full article »

2016 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Commemorative Edition available in red and black

Suzuki has announced a new limited edition GSX-R 1000 that honors the 30 years of the GSX-R series. The Commemorative Edition will be available in a new, special livery. In addition to that, each bike sold will have a “30 Years of Performance” badge on its fuel tank, along with a special wheel-stripe. Husqvarna has just revealed four all-new models for 2016. Featuring massive weight savings, new bodywork, new engine design and new carbon fibre subframes, the 2016 motocross bikes are a big step forward for the manufacturer. New colours for 2016 Kawasaki ER-6f, ER-6n, Versys 650 and Vulcan S models

Kawasaki has revealed a couple of new colour options for four of its popular mid-range models, including the ER-6 series. The announcement also means that these bikes don’t get any major upgrades for the new model year but that’s not really a surprise since the Versys 650 and Vulcan S models were both revealed as new or revised bikes last year. Road-legal electric Victory Empulse TT revealed

Building on the innovative design and engineering that produced the fastest U.S. electric motorcycle at the 2015 Isle of Man TT Zero race, Victory Motorcycles has introduced the 2016 Empluse TT, the first all-electric addition to the Victory lineup. 2016 Speedy Working Motors RS 650 R enters production

The first new model of Speedy Working Motors has just entered production. The RS 650 R is a stylish new enduro that features a Husqvarna/KTM engine. The engine is not particularly powerful but it’s dead reliable and the suspension is surprisingly good. The bike is built at Speedy Working Motors’ facility in Varese, Italy. Deliveries begin in Europe, but will quickly go global. The bike will retail for ca $7,000 USD and it should be available in the North America soon. Read the full article »
