Suzuki introduced the new 2011 M109R/Boulevard

Japanese manufacturer Suzuki has announced the first wave of 2011 motorcycles, including the leader of the power-cruiser category, the M109 R Boulevard. The 2011 M109 R and M109 R Limited Edition got a few cosmetic touch-ups, like a new instrument cluster with a digital tach and LED indicator light, a gear position indicator, and the relocation of the cluster from the handlebars to the top of the headlight cowl. 2011 Honda off-road CRF450R has arrived

Honda has announced its new CRF450R off-road machine. The four-stroke enduro got some serious updates for 2011 model year, including a new ECU, fuel injector, chassis and suspension. The more powerful CRF450R is available in red but there's no word from Honda on pricing for its 2011 model. Read the full article »

Video: Ducati 848 EVO

Ducati has released a brief promo video of their new 848 EVO, which will make its debut at this weekends race at Laguna Seca. The new EVO got a refined Testastretta engine which delivers 140 hp and 98Nm of torque, so it's slightly more powerful than this year's model. Honda revealed zero-emission future

Honda has unveiled the company's future plans, which includes solar charging stations and cheaper zero-emission technology. Company president and CEO Takanobu Ito has outlined in his speech: Honda will begin lease sales of battery-powered EV-neo scooter to businesses in Japan later this year. He also said Honda tries to improve electric technology and reduce costs to make zero-emission machines available to a wider audience. Read the full article »

Amazing wire motorcycle from China

What you can see here, is a full-scale, three-dimensional blueprint of an astonishingly accurate rendition of a Chinese copy (Chiangyiang 750) of a russian copy (Dneper) of a German copy (Zündapp) of a bike based on a pre-World War II BMW R71 motorcycle with a side car. Chinese artist Chi Jindian searched the "brand new and completely untraditional" material for years, and he finally settled on steel wires. We have no idea how long Jindian worked on this motorcycle, but this is far the coolest art piece we've seen in a long time. Read the full article »

Honda CBR1000 RR Firebade TT Special Edition available

Honda UK has unveiled two CBR1000 RR Fireblade Special Editions to commemorate the achievements of two legendary Isle of Man TT racers Ian Hutchinson and John McGuinness. The two Fireblades feature a special paintwork and are available in both standard and ABS-equipped versons. Hutchinson broke all record by winning five races at the 2010 Isle of Man TT, while McGuinness has a total number of 15 victories at the dangerous road race. Read the full article »

Suzuki introduced the 2011 Hayabusa

Japanese manufacturer Suzuki announced today the 2011 GSX 1340 R, alias Hayabusa. For 2011 the ultimate sports bike will get new colours and graphics (Pearl Mirage White wih gold trim and Pearl Nebular Black withred trim). The new Busa is powered by the same 1340cc, liquid-cooled, 4-cylinder engine. Read the full article »

Swarovski covered 1961 Vespa

From time to time you can find ackward-looking gold-, or chrome-finished sports cars on the internet - most of them are owned by arabic sheiks. But the latest work of German firm Stomerichworld is even more unusual than a chrome-finished Lamborghini in the desert. They covered a vintage 1961 Vespa with Swarovski chrystals for a cost of €249 000. The Vespa is now useless as a motorcycle but you can rent it from Stonerichworld for promotional events. Read the full article »

2011 Ducati 848 EVO unveiled

Italian manufacturer Ducati has just released the first images and initial details of its 2011 848 EVO machine that comes to replace the 848 middleweight bike. The engineers have listened to owners and enhanced the bikes specifications. The Testrastetta engine cracks out 140hp now and the torque has increased (from 96NM to 98Nm), too. Read the full article »

BMW will introduce its new K-series this fall, and approaching the date more and more details emerge from the two touring machines, the K1600GT and K1600GTL.
