Japanese manufacturer Suzuki announced today the 2011 GSX 1340 R, alias Hayabusa. For 2011 the ultimate sports bike will get new colours and graphics (Pearl Mirage White wih gold trim and Pearl Nebular Black withred trim). The new Busa is powered by the same 1340cc, liquid-cooled, 4-cylinder engine.

The japanese engineers have optimized the 6-speed transmission, oil spray to the 4th, 5th, and 6th gears reduce wear and mechanical noise during highway criosing.

Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) serves as back-torque-limiting system for smooth downhifts, while the S-DMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector) allows the driver to choose from three different engine settings depending on riding conditions. The company also announced it is celebrating its 50th anniversary of international racing this summer.
