Video: Valentino Rossi’s luxurious motorhome on sale

Valentino Rossi’s custom-painted Monaco motorhome is up for sale. The Monaco Dynasty Bishop IV is one hell of an RV, eight persons can sleep in it and it’s 11.94 meter long. The Dynasty features a 435hp engine and weighs 20 tonnes. It has a 568 liter fuel tank which means one refill will cost you $1,200. Hayden and Rossi Ducati Monster Art Replicas revealed

As final preparations for the massive “Ducati MotoGP Night” are made ready for the city-centre event on the evening of Friday, 4 March, Ducati reveal two new Monster Art colour schemes dedicated to Nicky Hayden and Valentino Rossi. First introduced in 2009, the innovative Monster Art project offered an additional range of colours to the standard factory options with a collection called “Colour Therapy”, while in 2010 the introduction of the “Logomania” collection celebrated 50 years of historic Ducati logo styles. Read the full article »

Video: Avoiding idiots

Ever felt like you’re the only sane person on the road? Dubliner Rob Brannigan shot a video about the dangers faced by bikers every day. Bus drivers not looking, people texting on mobiles, women applying their make-up etc. Brannigen said to MCN: “There were 3 main motivations for shooting the video: firstly, I nearly got taken out at the first clip junction by a red light jumper. F1 Tracker by Marcus Moto Design

What you can see here, is a one-off concept motorcycle that very well could be the base for a coming Ducati – or at least that what Swedish designer Marcus Carlsson says. The custom machine is originated from Ducati 996 superbike, Honda motorcross, and Husqvarna dirtbike inspirations. The bike features an all carbon fibre bodywork and agressive design with a huge, 1970's F1-inspired air scoop. Kickboxer Diesel AWD Concept

Two years ago, a Subaru WRX-powered motorcycle made the internet rounds. But that was just the first concept of non-Subaru endorsed designer Ian McElroy. Since then, Ian created another concept powered by a diesel engine. Now, you can see the third bike, called the Kickboxer Diesel AWD Concept. Video: Radical Ducati Mikaracer

Spanish custom bike builder Radical Ducati has created a special bike to celebrate the firm’s 10th year anniversary. The guys at Radical Ducati took the frame and engine of the Ducati Superbike 1098. The bike features modified original airbox, shortened air funnels, WOLFMAN exhaust system, V-Rod front light, carbon fiber mudguard, Rizoma belt covers, mirrors and rear brake lever, RAD alluminium rear subframe with 9 Amp battery support and Mika hand made footrest. Read the full article »

2011 Zero S, DS, X, MX videos

Zero Motorcycles has announced its 2011 model line-up and strategy to dominate the zero-emission motorcycle market. 2012 Izh Concept revealed

Izh was a large Soviet motorcycle factory before the fall of the USSR, with a production even more massive than the Imz-Ural. The motorcycle production started in 1927, when Russian engineer P. V. Mozharov designed the Izh-1. The bike featured a 1200cc V-twin (placed transversally, Moto Guzzi-style) and three-speed gearbox.
