In 2011, Yamaha is celebrating it’s fiftieth year of GP racing with a special paint job that all of their MotoGP teams will be using for the Assen and Laguna Seca rounds, but that’s not everything. The Japanese manufacturer also revealed a special T-Max maxi scooter which will get the special GP livery paint job. Unfortunately, the bike will only be available in the Japanese domestic market. The exact number of units has not been yet disclosed.

“I believe that the newly designed Red and White livery not only recollects our brilliant memories in the past but also makes us feel the power to create new history,” said Shigeto Kitagawa, President of Yamaha Motor Racing.

The red and white T-Max will hit Japanese Yamaha showrooms this July.
