Hermes Yamaha VMAX Concept Bike

Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has teamed up with French fashion house Hermes on the new VMAX concept bike. The unique machine features rich leather detailing added to thre seat, headlight cover, exhaust silencers, grips and mirrors. Everything non-mechanical on the bike is covered in a skipper Buffalo leather. The 180-year old French brand is not new to the world of motor powered vehicles, as they have already worked on cars and helicopters. Read the full article »

Honda will reveal a V4 adventure bike at EICMA

Honda released an official sketch which shows a new adventure bike. The Japanese manufacturer will bring a new 1200cc concept bike to the EICMA show next month, and rumours suggest the new sketch is based on this machine. The concept will most likely to feature the VFR’s 1200cc V4 engine and will have an exclusive, sporty design. If Honda builds a new model with this engine, it will have to be lighter and sportier than the overhyped, heavy VFR. Yamaha Worldcrosser Concept: The adventure bike of the future?

Yamaha displayed a new concept model of the Super Ténéré to highlight the possible future of the adventure tourer. The bike, called the Worldcrosser Concept is equipped with an exclusive range of lightweight chassis components. By creating the Worldcrosser concept, Yamaha has underlined the true spirit of the Super Ténéré. Suzuki develops e-Let’s electric scooter

The Japanese manufacturer has completed a prototype of an electric scooter named the e-Let’s and has begun studying its operation on public roads in Japan. Suzuki was able to begin the on-road trials after registering the e-Let’s as a moped with the local authorities on 21st September and obtaining a number plate for it. Suzuki plans to use the resulting data in development efforts aimed at creating a production model. The e-Let’s is based on a petrol-engine scooter called the Let’s4 basket. Read the full article »

Futuristic 2WD Ostoure Naked Concept

The Ostoure is a naked motorcycle concept sprung from the mind of Persian designer Mohammad Reza Shojaie. Ostoure (standing „Legend” in Persian) utilizes delicate, futuristic but muscular design and futuristic technology. More and more companys plan to manufacture electric cars and motorcycles, although most of them are only concept. The newest one comes from italian design firm Sak Art, which has close connection with Ducati. They have come up with an electric Superbike concept, called SBIK_E. Brawler: V-Rod powered concept for enthusiasts of performance

It's not news that the V-Rod, designed with Porsche engineering input, is one of the best motorcycle engines ever made. The V-Rod has not broken any sales record, though, and rumours suggest that it will be axed shortly. Travis Clark designer thought, this engine would deserve a more sportier chassis and frame, and appearently he did his homework. Travis designed two concepts, a base model with a 88 cubic inch air-cooled V-Twin, and the V-Rod powered Sportster. Although Italian design found its peak in the 1960's, they can create fantastic cars and motorcycles nowadays, too. Aer Indes: 200 hp, zero-emission motorcycle concept

KTM, Zero Motorcycles, Motoczysz - just a few from those old/new manufacturers who started to produce electric two-wheelers in the last couple of years. The electric motorcycles clearly moves the young designers mind, too. This concept belongs to design student Andre Look. The designer used hi-tech materials for the frame and bodywork, four motors and batteries that can swapped in seconds, the bike's power output is 200hp. A secondary motor housed within the swingarm boosts power by a further 25hp. Read the full article »
