2011 Suzuki GSX-R 600 new photos

For the 2011 model year, the Suzuki GSX-R 600 received some technical updates. The new GSX-R is a bit shorter, which makes it easier to handle, while the new aluminium chassis is lighter than its predecessor’s. The brand new engine is one of the smallest in the 600cc segment and uses the classic RAM-Air direct injection. The exhaust and air valves are all made from titanium, which further contributes to the weight loss. The brake system comes from Italian brake specialist Brembo. KTM introduced two new models, the 2011 250 XC-F and 350 XC-F

KTM announced it has expanded its 2011 model lineup with two new off-road models. The bikes were introduced to the public by the Factory FMF/KTM GNCC Team of Kailub Russell, Cory Buttrick and Charlie Mullins. All three riders will be racing the 350 XC-F in the 2011 GNCC Series. The new 2011 XC-F’s are based on the 250 and 350 SX-F models built with specific components and settings for cross-country racing. Read the full article »

Video: 2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Vaquero

Kawasaki’s Vulcan 1700 is a motorcycle that combines comfort, style and functionality. The Vaquero (pronounced va-kero, Spanish for cowboy) shares its 1700cc liquid-cooled, SOHC, 52-degree V-twin with the Vulcan Classic, Vulcan Nomad and Vulcan Voyager. The bike features Candy Fire red paint, muscle car-styled instrumentation, chrome accents, blacked out engine, air-cleaner cover, wheels and tank cover. Read the full article »

Video: Cobra custom Honda RS750 Scrambler

Cobra Engineering’s Special Projects Division has drawn five concept bikes based on the Honda VT750 Shadow’s V-twin, a Scrambler, Café Racer, Street Fighter, Dirt Tracker and Bobber. “Once again, Cobra Engineering will undertake a multi-bike custom project. Back in 1996 Cobra did a similar project with American Honda around the 750 Ace, building what would come to be known as the Four Aces. Now with the new RS750, Cobra will build two customs based around two ofthe five concepts presented here,” said Ken Boyko from Cobra. Read the full article »

Mission R electric race bike introduced

American company Mission Motors unveiled the R, an all-electric factory race bike at the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show today. The manufacturer says the R „is the most advanced electric racing motorcycle in the world. With components and software from MissionEVT, a revolutionary chassis design by James Parker, and cutting edge industrial design by Tim Prentice of Motonium Design, the Mission R is powerful, intelligent and downright fierce. Cagiva Raptor 125 – Italian style for the teen market

The Cagiva Raptor 125 is one of those 125cc street legal sportsbikes which are so popular among European young riders. The new 125 Raptor owes its name to the introduction of design concepts derived from its bigger sisters, like the front headlamp, the new redesigned passenger seat, and the V-Raptor's handlebars. The Ducati Diavel gets all black

Ducati took the wraps off the new Diavel at the EICMA show in Milan this November, and since then, Ducati has been taking feedback online on the motorcycle. The manufacturer has taken some of the criticism and they created a new all black version. Called the Diavel Diamond Black, the bike features glossy black tank, black intakes and headlamp. The complete 2011 Benelli motorcycle lineup

On occasion of the centenary of its foundation, Benelli has decided to celebrate this anniversary with some interesting news. The primary objective of Benelli for the next year is to regain the trust of the market. The Italian manufacturer will start to develop new motorbikes and scooters, which will arrive in the next two years.
