Born and raised in Silkeborg, Denmark, the young Danish talent rode his first bike at the age of three and has been racing since he turned six. He was a heat winner in the 2014 Junior World Championship in Belgium and won the ADAC Junior Cup this season. Mikkel also took second place last year in the Red Bull Give Me Five competition in Madrid, Spain.

Rasmus Jorgensen, Mikkel’s manager and trainer said it was a big step for both Mikkel and his family: “It’s a huge opportunity and I have no doubt that with these people behind him, he will achieve all his goals in the future.”
