Honda is developing a new adventure sports bike based on the chassis and engine of the VFR1200F. The concept version of the new bike was shown last year at EICMA show, but now we have the first spy shots of the motorcycle. American magazine Insideline reports the new Crosstourer was spotted somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. Called the VR4 Crosstourer, the bike will be powered by the same V4 engine found in the VFR1200F.

The Crosstourer also features the six speed auto clutch transmission with three modes: Drive, Sport and Manual. The VR4 Crosstourer will have a tough competition: the BMW R1200GS, the Yamaha XT1200Z Super Ténéré, and the Ducati Multistrada 1200.
