Leslie Porterfield is one of the fastest women in the world, he already set a new world record at Bonneville Salt Flats, clocking 201mph in the 1000cc Production Class. But the young Texan isn’t satisfied, she is now hoping to top 254mph in the modified class on her Sir Speedy Honda. She says: “I have dreamed of setting records. Ever since I bought my first motorcycle at 16, I have believed that I would become the fastest person in the world. When I first started out, people told me I was crazy, but I was fearless and forged ahead through every obstacle, motivated by the belief that I would one day set a new world record.”
