The Taiwanese motorcycle manufacturer announced three new scooter models for the 2011 model year, the 50cc Super 8 50 2T, the 200cc Like 200i and the 300cc Downtown 300i. The Super 8 50 2T is a new entry-level scooter with a 2-stroke, 49cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The second bike, the Like 200i is a larger-displacement version of the Like 50, while the Downtown 300i offers a performance of a real maxi scooter.
The smallest, 49cc scooter has a new, EPA-compliant SOHC engine, which is coupled with Kymco’s flawless automatic transmission. The 2011 Super 8 50 2T is available in three race color combinations of Red/White, Blue/White and Black/Silver and has a price tag of $2,099. The second scooter, the Like 200i is related with the Like 50i but features a powerful electronic fuel-injected engine and offers plenty of underseat storage, along with a color-matched top box as standard equipment. The Like 200i costs $3,399 and is available in three classic colors, Black, Red and Ivory. The third model, the Downtown 300i is powered by an all new 4-valve Electronic Fuel Injected engine coupled to an agile, responsive, light weight dual cradle steel chassis. You can choose from three color options: Pearl White, Silver or Burnt Orange. The maxi scooter has a pricetag of $5,599.
