MV Agusta enters the Canadian market

The iconic Italian brand will be available soon in Canada, as MV Agusta has named Motovan Corp. as its exclusive importer for the Canadian market. “We have finally succeeded in obtaining all of the necessary approvals from the Canadian authorities therefore the motorcycles can be imported into Canada for the very first time in the history of MV Agusta. New MV Agusta F3 voted “most beutiful bike of EICMA”.

The completely new MV Agusta F3 was recently launched at the world’s biggest and most important motorcycle show, EICMA Milan, where Motociclismo magazine organised a poll to find ‘The Most Beautiful Bike of the Show’. Of over 12,000 votes cast, the F3 captured 39%, nearly twice that of the next entrant and well ahead of every other new model at the show. MV Agusta presented a one-off Brutale 990R dedicated to Milan

The Italian brand has dedicated a one-off Brutale 990R to the city of Milan. The bike, called the 990R Brand Milano, has been presented at Palazzo Marino, the town hall. „A combination of excellence between the metropolis that represents design and fashion and the most attractive bike on the market. 2011 MV Agusta F3 revealed – with video

The new MV Agusta – the anticipated F3 – is finally out. The Italian manifacturer says the F3 is the most technologically advanced 600cc motorcycle ever produced. Thebike features a whole range of electronics – ride-by-wire with multi maps, traction control. The bike has an advanced frame which incorporates a mix of steel tubing and aluminium side plates that wrap around the ultra compact engine. The compact engine dimensions left the maximum liberty to design the most advanced chassis on the market. Read the full article »

MV Agusta F3 first official photos

MV Agusta has finally released the first photos about its new middleweight superbike. MV says of the new F3: „After years of continuous design and development along with ongoing research to create the most beautiful and technologically advanced 600cc bike of the world, the first pictures of the “real” MV AGUSTA F3 are revealed.” Earlier rumours suggested the bike will feature a 675cc engine but the Italians decided to build a new technologically more advanced engine. Read the full article »

MV Agusta launches virtual museum

Italian manufacturer MV Agusta has just added a „virtual” museum to its website. The site, available under adress http://www.mvagusta.it/it/moto-storiche/moto-da-strada, includes pictures and specifications for all of its most historic road motorcycles from the ‘40s, ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s beginning with the first 98cc “Turismo” in 1945 before chronicling and also chronicles the racing MVs which delivered 37 world championships between 1952 and 1976 in the hands of the likes of Giacomo Agostini and Phil Read. Read the full article »

MV Agusta reveals top gun

MV Agusta, recently reclaimed by Italy from Harley-Davidson, hasn’t wasted any time in reminding everyone that it’s alive and kicking and still making „new” bikes. The company revealed this limited edition MV Agusta F4 Frecce Tricolori, bearing the livery of the Italian aerobatic team to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the national aerobatic team and the Aermacchi MB-339PAN that the squadron uses for its aerial displays. Read the full article »

MV Agusta motorcycles exhibited in aviation museum

MV Agusta is not just a motorcycle manufacturer – many consider they produce the most beautiful motorcycles in the world. The Italians revealed that its most coveted models are displayed in Volandia, a a 60,000 sqm aviation museum in Italy. Volandia tells the most fascinating challenge, and it will do it through the history of the aeronautical companies, intersecting symbolically and in facts with the history of MV Agusta motorcycles, which are exhibited in an area of the museum. Read the full article »

The Sultan of Qatar has a new toy – the MV Agusta F4 Libeccio

Alka Design has created two special versions for the MV Agusta F4, both inspired by the world of supercars. The first one, dubbed the Libeccio is a studie inspired by the Pagani Zonda One, a one-of supercar made for Ana Al-Thani, the Sultan of Qatar. The Libeccio has - just as the Zonda - a body completely made out of carbon fiber. As far as we know, Alka didn' touch the engine, the inline-four produces still 186hp at 12,900rpm. Read the full article »
