Honda NSF250R Moto3 race bike breaks cover

Replacing the current 2-stroke, 125 cc used in the GP125 class, Honda developed the new NSF250R as a machine for entry riders to participate in the battle, seizing the opportunity provided by the opening of the 4-stroke, 250cc Moto3 category, which begins in 2012. The Japanese brand didn’t release official specifications but under Moto3 regulations, the NSF250R is limited to a 250cc single-cylinder engine with a bore of up to 81mm and a maximum rev limit of 14000rpm. Read the full article »

2012 Honda FourTrax Foreman 4×4 ATV introduced

Along with the new Gold Wing, Honda’s Foreman line of ATV’s comes with a host of performance upgrades for 2012. The ATV is powered by a new, 475cc, single-cylinder OHV four-stroke engine with fuel injection. Besides, the FourTrax’s chassis has been redesigned, featuring lighter suspension system and high-quality shock. In addition to that, the Honda features Electric Shift Program (ESP) that delivers push-button convenience for shifting, plus the option of Electric Power Shifting (EPS). Read the full article »

2012 Honda Goldwing revealed

American Honda Motor Company announced today the 2012 Gold Wing. The 2012 bike has redesigned fairing with extra wind protection, larger saddlebags, revised suspension settings front and rear for a better ride and more comfort, re-shaped taillight, new wheels, and updated instrumentation. The first opportunity to view the new Honda will be at the International Motorcycle Show in Greenville, South Carolina, February 25-27 and Daytona Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Florida, March 5-12. Read the full article »

Repsol Honda Team embraces the 2011 season in Sepang

Honda CB400 Super Four & Bol d’Or Special Edition launched

Honda today launched the CB400 Super Four & Bol d’Or Special Edition for the Japanese market. The first bike, called the CB400 Super Four Limited Edition is a naked, while the Bol d’Or comes with fairing. Highlights include red frame, gold rims and brake callipers, and white body colour. The new colours give the bikes an agressive and sporty look. Just 500 of the Special Edition bikes will be made in both naked and faired forms. Read the full article »

Honda motorcycle sales show why USA and Europe aren’t important any more

Honda Motor Co said Thursday that it sold 17,9 million motorcycles globally, up 19% from the previous year as demand grew 23% in Asia. Honda’s domestic sales grew 8% to 196 000 units, while sales in North America were down 8%. What’s really amazing, is the fast-growing gulf between motorcycle sales in Europe, Africa, Middle & Near East (258 000 units in 2010), North (192,000 units) and South (1,6 million units) America and Japan (196,000 units) when compared to Asia (14,4 million units). Read the full article »

Suzuki GW250: Honda CBR 250 R’s new competitor

The Japanese manufacturer took the wraps off its GW250 naked bike at the 2010 CIMA exhibition in China. The motorcycle is already available on the Chinese and Brazilian market, but new rumours suggest that Suzuki will introduce the cheap bike in Europe. The GW 250 is practically the production version of the mini B-King and features a 250cc parallel twin DOHC engine that delivers 26 hp at 8,000 rpm and 24 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Read the full article »

Castrol Honda returns to WSBK

The latest incarnation of an iconic team has returned to the World Superbike championship following today's launch of the new Castrol Honda team, with the global lubricants brand announcing title sponsorship of Honda's superbike effort for the upcoming 2011 title race. The new team will feature riders Jonathan Rea and Ruben Xaus campaigning Honda's CBR1000RR Fireblade, with the squad being run by the Netherlands-based Ten Kate Racing outfit, who have led Honda's World Superbike effort since 2004. Read the full article »
