The Ducati Diavel gets all black

Ducati took the wraps off the new Diavel at the EICMA show in Milan this November, and since then, Ducati has been taking feedback online on the motorcycle. The manufacturer has taken some of the criticism and they created a new all black version. Called the Diavel Diamond Black, the bike features glossy black tank, black intakes and headlamp. Video: Ducati Monstrosity reversed trike by TreMoto

TreMoto is a technology development organization focused on providing safety and performance improvements to motorcycles. In creating a reverse trike with a patented leaning suspension, based off of a Ducati Monster 620, TreMoto has found the ultimate way of combining the visceral thrill of riding a motorcycle with added safety and stability desired by riders everywhere. Ducati launches 2011 848EVO racing program

Ducati North America is excited to announce the new 848EVO Club Racing program, designed to support enthusiast club racers competing with the 848EVO Superbike in the 2011 season. The 848EVO Club Racing program marks Ducati’s return to supporting its most dedicated club racers. Ducati ST1200 Concept: the return of the ST?

The Italian manufacturer killed the ST name at the end of 2007 when Ducati sold just barely over 1,000 units of its sport-tourer. But since then, the brand has introduced the Multistrada model and the ST owners thought it’s a poor successor of their bike. But the Multistrada is more oriented for adventure so there is still a gap in the Italian’s lineup that some believe should be fitted. Video: Ducati Diavel and Mercedes CLS 63 AMG

We already know that Italian motorcycle manufacturer and German automaker have signed a cooperation agreement yesterday at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The partnership means that Mercedes AMG will support the Ducati MotoGP team as the Official Car Partner from 2011. The partners are currently examining the further activities and strategic steps they might undertake together in the near future. The two companies have now released a video of the new Ducati Diavel power cruiser and Mercedes CLS 63 AMG meeting on the road. Read the full article »

Ducati and Mercedes announce partnership

Ducati introduced its new power cruiser, the Diavel in Los Angeles alongside the new Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG, and the head of AMG, Ola Kallanius also took time to announce a new partnership with Ducati. The most important result of the deal is that Mercedes will be official sponsor of Ducati MotoGP team in 2011. Nicky Hayden, one of the team’s rider also attended the event. The Australian rider will get a CLS 63 AMG which produces 518hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. Read the full article »

Ducati updated the Monster EVO for 2011

The Italian manufacturer presented the 2011 Monster 1100 EVO at EICMA show in Milan. The updated bike is lighter and more powerful, and now features standard ABS and Ducati Traction ontrol (DTC). The 2011 Monster weighs just 373lbs, 4lbs less than the 2010 version. The updated engine delivers five extra horsepower, which means the 2011 Monster is the first two-valve Ducati that reaches 100hp. New 10-spoke wheels replace the five-spoke units on the 2010 models, with Pirelli Diablo Rosso remaining the OE tire. Brembo binders now come with ABS as standard, available as an option on previous models. Read the full article »

Mercedes AMG to sponsor Ducati in MotoGP?

Mercedes could be the second car company in the MotoGP after Fiat. The The German manufacturer and the Italian motorcycle company have already collaborated together this year’s World Ducati Week where lucky motorcycle fans could try out the brand new Mercedes SLS AMG GT3. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Mercedes could sponsor Ducati with their AMG logo. The Italian sports magazine says the two companies will sign a three-year agreement but there’s no official word from the manufacturers. Read the full article »

2011 Ducati Diavel: first official photos

The Italian firm confirmed yesterday its new muscle cruiser, called the Diavel. The motorcycle will make its debut at the EICMA International Motorcycle Show in Milan 2-7 November. The manufacturer says the Diavel (pronounced Dee-ah-vel) will „take the man-motorcycle relationship to the next level in absolute comfort.” The machine weighs 456lbs and features ABS, traction control and Ducati Riding Modes. At the heart of the „devil” is a 1200cc Testastretta V-twin which power figures are still unknown. Read the full article »

Ducati Diavel prototype revealed

The Ducati Diavel will be officially revealed next month at the Milan EICMA show but thanks to the Ducati News Today, we can show you how the first prototype looked like. The pictures were taken 18 month ago in Los Angeles as the bike was created up for a trip back to Europe. This prototype has only one exhaust and a custom swing arm. The Diavel obviously evolved in the last 18 months and we are curious about the production version of Ducati’s big cruiser. Read the full article »
