2012 Piaggio MP3 Touring 125, 300, 400 and 500 unveiled

Italian manufacturer took the wraps off the brand new MP3 Touring which will be available with the classic 125, 300 and 400 engine sizes, which are now joined by an all-new 500cc version offered in Sport and Business spec levels. The evolved styling of the new MP3 Touring is immediately evident at first glance. While retaining a distinct resemblance with the rest of the MP3 family, the new Touring boasts a new honeycomb front grille and a satin-finish centre moulding in the front shield. Read the full article »

2012 Honda TRX250X and TRX450R unveiled

Honda has released the 2012 model year versions of the TRX250X and TRX450R ATV’s. Both ATV’s remains very much the same machines they have been since they were first introduced in the 2004 model year. On the other hand, the TRX450R stands tall as one mighty impressive machine, having won races in virtually every form of ATV racing as well as racking up a string of exciting wins in the grueling Baja 1000. The E-Scooter provides the necessary sustained output and maximum speed for safe and reliable overtaking on urban motorways and also when carrying two people. BMW introduces Dynamic Damping Control for future motorcycles

As part of its BMW Motorrad Innovation Day 2011, the Bavarian manufacturer introduced a new semiactive suspension control system called Dynamic Damping Control (DDC). As early as 1986, BMW Motorrad achieved a milestone in suspension technology by launching the Paralever swingarm, an innovation that considerably improved rear suspension and the transfer of forces. In 1993, the freshly launched opposed twin “boxer” engine series was the first to be fitted as standard with a front suspension system that operated independently of the rear known as Telelever. Read the full article »

2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R to get new graphics

The current Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R was last revised back in 2009, when the bike got many tweaks and upgrades. The 2012 model however, won’t be receiving many changes. Kawasaki recently announced that the bike will only get updated colors and graphics. The MotoGP/WSBK-like graphics are featured for the first time on a Kawasaki production bike; the Ninja name now sits proudly on the fuel tank, while the Kawasaki name has moved to the side fairings. Read the full article »

More photos of the 2011 Aprilia Scarabeo 125 and 200

Aprilia has released a set of new photos of its revised Scarabeo 125 and 200 scooters. Both scooters feature new design, but the mid-size engines also receive an important restyling. The Scarabeo 125 and 200 flaunt an entirely new look, but which clearly recalls the original Scarabeo style. The front shield is new – where the “classic” oval grille returns – new mirrors, turn indicators and saddle, for “entry level” luxury based on the incredible quality/price ratio. Read the full article »
