Vespa introduced his new limited edition GTV Via Montenapoleone scooter. The special edition motorcycle interprets the elements of style more tipical of the 50′s. Apart from that, the Vespa has an ultra modern engine with electronic fuel injection and a monocoque body. The exclusive version draws its inspiration from the world of fashion and art, and its name “Via Montenapoleone” is a clear reference to the elegance that distinguishes Vespa.

The scooter has a single-cylinder, Euro-3 compliant 278cc engine with fuel-injection, which produces 22hp. Compared with the Vespa GTV 250, the new GTV “Via Montenapoleone” stands for the highest level of torque the new engine (22.3 Nm as opposed to 20.1) achieved at a lower speed (5,000 rpm against 6,500 on the 250). The GTV special edition is already available in the dealerships, it is priced at £4499 ($6600).
