Who won this race?

Photo finish is the worst nightmare of sprinters and motorcycle racers for a good reason. AMA Pro Racing had to use this photo finish to decide who won Race 1 of the Daytona Sportbike series at Virginia International Raceway this weekend. The two riders are Bobby Fong (#30) and Martin Cardenas (#36). At the end, Fong won but the margin was only 0,001 seconds. Can You make the call who won? Read the full article »

Suzuki launches V-Strom 650 Xpedition

Suzuki’s popular V-Strom 650 range sees the arrival of a new flagship model this month, with the introduction of the V-Strom 650 Xpedition. The new model is based on the V-Strom 650 ABS-equipped model, but the adventurer got a lot of additions. MV Agusta motorcycles exhibited in aviation museum

MV Agusta is not just a motorcycle manufacturer – many consider they produce the most beautiful motorcycles in the world. The Italians revealed that its most coveted models are displayed in Volandia, a a 60,000 sqm aviation museum in Italy. BMW S 1000 RR clinches three „Best of” honors in U.S.

BMW Motorrad introduced its new sport bike at Italy’s famed Monza racetrack, during the World Superbike race weekend, in May 9, 2009. End of an era: 125cc to be replaced by Moto3

The Grand Prix Commission, MotoGP’s ruling body met at Brno at the weekend and they finalized the demise of the two-strokeengine from Grand Prix Racing. It’s long rumoured that the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) would phase out two-smokers. Official: Rossi to ride for Ducati in 2011

Rossi likened his departure from Fiat Yamaha as the end of a marriage: "even the most beautiful love stories finish, but they leave a lot of wonderful memories," said Rossi after Sunday's Czech GP. The signing will see two of Italy’s great racing legends compete together from next year. The Sultan of Qatar has a new toy – the MV Agusta F4 Libeccio

Alka Design has created two special versions for the MV Agusta F4, both inspired by the world of supercars. The first one, dubbed the Libeccio is a studie inspired by the Pagani Zonda One, a one-of supercar made for Ana Al-Thani, the Sultan of Qatar. The Libeccio has - just as the Zonda - a body completely made out of carbon fiber. As far as we know, Alka didn' touch the engine, the inline-four produces still 186hp at 12,900rpm. Read the full article »
