Husqvarna introduced three new off-road machines

The Swedish arm of BMW Motorcycles announced three whole new models, namely the TE 449, TE 511, TC 449, which are said to be easy to use, ready to race and easy to maintain. Honda lifts forecast after strong sales drive Q1

Honda Motor Co posted its best quarterly operating profit in two years on brisks in the US, China, and other Asian markets. Japan’s second biggest automaker raised its forecast despite a sharp rise in the yen. Honda’s motorcycle, scooter and ATV sales are up 28.2% over Q1 of 2009, selling over 2.8 million units compared to Q1 2009’s 2.25 million units. Read the full article »

Indian Motorcycles promises prototypes and new models at Sturgis

Indian Motorcycles announced that it will be celebrating the company's 110-year history by introducing the 2011 Indian Chief lineup in Sturgis for the 70th annual motorcycle rally. 2011 Triumph Adventure “spy” shots

Keeping with its schedule, Triumph has released some new photos and technical data of its 2011 Adventure. The English manufacturer has created a new, 800-ish, long-stroke three-cylinder engine based on the 675 to power the middleweight road and off-road versions of the bike. The engine should be "torquey", have an "exciting top end", "compact dimensions", "controllable power delivery', all thanks to its long-stroke design. See the video below: Read the full article »

Peugeot revealed new Kisbee 4-stroke scooter

French manufacturer Peugeot has revealed its latest scooter, the Kisbee. The 4-stroke machine is not just the first 2011 model year scooter in Peugeot's range, but the first one with the marque's new lion logo. The scooter has a 50cc, 4-stroke engine which is clear and fuel efficient. We can travel up to 200 km (124 miles) with its 6.5 liter (1,5 gallon) tank. Read the full article »

Harley-Davidson leaving the sidecar business

Harley-Davidson has a long history of adding a third outrigger wheel to its line of heavyweight models, starting back in 1914. That's over now, Harley has just announced that 2011 will be the final year it offers sidecars as a factory option, and it will no longer accept new orders for them. New engines, transmissions for Victory Motorcycles’ 2011 lineup

Victory Motorcycles has introduced its 2011 model lineup, all of which now featue significant engine and transmission upgrades. The biggest news is that Victory drops the smaller displacement motor, so every 2011 model comes with the huge 106 cubic inch V-twin. Video: Buell 1190RR road bike return?

Harley-Davidson announced last october that Buell motorcycles will be discontinued. But the fans of Buell never loose hope, and there are new pictures and a video of a Buell street bike. What we can see on the images, is a Buell 1190RR race bike with turn signals and radiator fans, just the sort of thing you might see on a street bike.
