Video: BMW introduced world’s first adaptive headlights for motorcycles for K1600 GT and GTL

The new BMW K1600 GT ang GTL will feature a nice long list of innovative technologies, one of them is the world's first adaptive headlight for motorcycles. Video: Backflip over flying Kamaz

Alexey Kolesnikov performed a backflip over a Kamaz. You'll probably saying what's so unusual about this trick, it’s been done thousands of times. The trick is that the 8.5 ton Kamaz was driven by six times Dakar-champion Vladimir Chagin, and the truck jumped simultanously with the motorcycle. The Kamaz sailed 28 feet through the air, while the motorcycle travelled 69 feet. Read the full article »

From this yar on there is a whole new category on the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy for electric motorcycles. The MotoCzysz E1pc simply annihilated the competition, reaching 95mph average speed. Aer Indes: 200 hp, zero-emission motorcycle concept

KTM, Zero Motorcycles, Motoczysz - just a few from those old/new manufacturers who started to produce electric two-wheelers in the last couple of years. The electric motorcycles clearly moves the young designers mind, too. This concept belongs to design student Andre Look. The designer used hi-tech materials for the frame and bodywork, four motors and batteries that can swapped in seconds, the bike's power output is 200hp. Video: Aprilia is poking BMW in the eye with the RSV4 Factory

Remember this video from the spring? BMW showed a trick with its supersport machine S1000 RR, a table and some dishes. Aprilia has now released an official response to that. The italians are clearly poking BMW in the eye with this video, in which their motto is: "Tricks are not our talent. Winning is. Video: Would You pass round the planet on this “motorcycle”?

The Zerotracer is an interesting creature which combines the comfort of a car with the agility of a motorcycle. The electric machine was designed by swiss engineers and the company decided to take part in the electric vehicle race "Around the World in Eighty Days", which means 30 000 km across 20 countries in 80 days. The Zerotracer's body is a kevlar carbon fiber monocowue, a technique derived from Formula 1 construction. It has a top speed of 250 km/h with a driving capacity of 450 km on a single charge. Read the full article »
