Gisele Bündchen gets on a bike…

Brazilian supermodel got on a bike for DT magazine. The world’s highest-paid supermodel was born in 1980 in Brazilia so it’s no surprise that she features in the Brazilian magazine’s October 2010 issue. Gisele was photographed by Mario Testino, who seems to be a big fan of the Mad Max movies. Gisele currently has about $150 million on her bank account and she’s the sixteenth richest woman in the entertainment industry. Read the full article »

Buy Jorge Lorenzo’s special helmet for €10,000

Fiat Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo crowned his MotoGP World Championship with a win at the final round in Valencia on 7th November, wearing an extremely special version of the X-Lite X-802 helmet. It caused a sensation around the MotoGP paddock and the globe and, to celebrate Jorge’s stunning year, X-Lite will be producing a very limited number of hand-crafted replicas. Ducati launches 2011 848EVO racing program

Ducati North America is excited to announce the new 848EVO Club Racing program, designed to support enthusiast club racers competing with the 848EVO Superbike in the 2011 season. The 848EVO Club Racing program marks Ducati’s return to supporting its most dedicated club racers. Travertson V-Rex 2: the wildest production bike

The Travertson V-Rex was already one of the wildest production bikes, but its updated version, the V-Rex 2 is even weirder. The 2011 version, dubbed the V-Rex 2 features a new steel subframe to support a pillion residing on the rear half of a new seat, as well as new LED taillights. The bike uses a Harley-Davidson engine and H-D electronics. The other features of the bike include digital speedometer, custom paint job and vertical chrome tank decorated in Swarowsky crystals. H&R Erbacher The One chopper: custom machine for $145,000

Swiss company H&R, in cooperation with Fat Attack Custom Bikes have developed a unique machine. Called „The One”, this bike is largely made of titanium, aluminium, carbon, and aircraft steel. During its production attention was paid to every detail to ensure that the materials used are the same as for racing. The weight saving of over 60 kilograms with simultaneously greater stability in its driving characteristics becomes noticeable. Read the full article »

Video: 2011 Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 GT 8V

Italian brand Moto Guzzi unveiled the updated version of its Norge GT 1200 8V at the EICMA back in october. The big tourer got a more powerful V-twin engine for 2011, which produces now 102hp. The new Norget GT features reshaped fairing which provides better protection for rider and passenger, but also increases airflow to the air-cooled engine. New Royal Enfield Fury in the works

The world’s oldest motorcycle manufacturer is going to introduce a new, saucy-looking model at this weekend’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live at NEC. The new bike, called the Fury is based around the 500cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 27hp at 5500rpm and 41Nm at 4000rpm. The angry-loking, flat-track-inspired model features wide handlebars, two-into one exhaust and white-orange paintjob. Wrenchmonkees Kawasaki Zephyr 750

The Kawasaki Zephyr 750 motorcycle is a naked retro, made between 1992-1999. Danish company Wrenchmonkees has customized the legendary model and created a cafe version of it. The frame, the engine, the front fork, the swingarm, the rims are standard. But the paint, including the painted engine covers and all the wirings, the muffler are made in house. Ducati ST1200 Concept: the return of the ST?

The Italian manufacturer killed the ST name at the end of 2007 when Ducati sold just barely over 1,000 units of its sport-tourer. But since then, the brand has introduced the Multistrada model and the ST owners thought it’s a poor successor of their bike. But the Multistrada is more oriented for adventure so there is still a gap in the Italian’s lineup that some believe should be fitted. One of these persons is Italian designer Luca Bar who created this ST1200 Concept which draws inspiration from the Multistrada. Read the full article »

Sinclair X-1: pedal-electric hybrid for $940

The inventor of the Sinclair C-5 developed a new pedal-electric hybrid vehicle, the X-1. Sir Clive’s new electric motorcycle looks like a bubble and works a lot like a recumbent. The bike has a comfortable seat, forward-mounted pedals and a high handlebar. The vehicle weighs just 30kg and features a 190Watt motor. The X-1 packs a 24V lithium-polymer battery pack which drives the rear wheel via a fixed-gear drivetrain. Read the full article »
