The new Yamaha FZ16 is a mid segment street bike that gives its riders the feel of riding a high end, muscular sports bike. The FZ16 features an agressive, robust styling, huge tank, beefy forks and wide tyres. It is powered by a 153cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine which delivers 14hp and 10ft-lb. It is a bike designed for the urban rider and its design as well as technological features makes it give a feather smooth ride in city traffic. The FZ16 has a price tag of 65,000 Rupees in India (appr. $1,453). However, there are no current plans to sell the FZ16 in the US.
