After two months of teasing, the team at Kawasaki have finally decided to take the wraps of the latest Ninja racebike. The Japanese team has slowly been leaking photos and videos of the new ZX-10R through a massive online social marketing campaign, which centered around the company’s twitter account. The new Ninja will make its official debut at the Intermot show in October, which means the technical details are still unknown.

At the moment we can see only the bike has a LeoVince exhaust, Brembo brakes and Showa suspensions. The 2011 Ninja  has already gone through testing in Japan (at the Suzuka and Okayama circuits) and last week Supersport rider Katsuaki Fujiwara and WSBK rider Tom Sykes tested the bike at the Almeria race track in Spain. “The new race bike has been eagerly anticipated by everyone involved in the Superbike racing project for a while now. The PBM team have evolved and restructured continuously in order to be in a position to utilise the new bike’s potential to the maximum next season. As you can imagine the Paul Bird team are ultra keen to get started with it and so who better than the team itself to help us show the first edition of the race version of it here at the Nurburgring?” Steve Guttridge, the Race Planning Manager from Kawasaki Motors Europe, stated for the press. The bike will make its racing debut in the 2011 WSB Championship.
