The bavarian motorcycle company announced today a special edition machine suitable for long distance rides across the country. The “Exclusive Edition” is specially equipped with a long list of official BMW optional extras. The GT comes standard with electronic suspension adjustment (ESA II), ABS, automatic stability control (ASC), tyre pressure monitor (RDC), heated grips and seat, a 49-litre top box along with the standard-fit panniers and comes in a special two-tone grey metallic paint scheme.

The K 1300 GT Exclusive Edition has xenon headlamp for visibility during night riding. The on-board computer provides travel-related data such as range, outside temperature and average fuel consumption and there is an electronic cruise control function for long stretches of motorway riding. Tony Jakeman, BMW Motorrad Marketing manager, said: “The K1300GT has consistency won praise from journalists and customers alike. The new K1300 GT Exclusive Edition further enhances this class-leading machine’s touring qualities and offers customers the chance to own the very highest specification GT on the market.” The Exclusive Edition is now available to order from BMW, price is €19 450 in Germany.
