Akrapovic Morsus custom chopper

Akrapovic is a Slovenian manufacturer which is known for making exhaust systems primarily for motorcycles. The manufacturer decided to build a custom chopper. Of course, Akrapovic didn’t build the Morsus on its own, it was created in collaboration with Dreamachine Motorcycles. Whilst its a one off piece of art, its a working machine which can be ridden. The machine was designed and handbuilt in Slovenia with the project coordinated by Dreamachine Motorcycles and Akrapovič leading designers, engineers and skilled craftsmen. more »

Orange County Choppers faces foreclousure over major debt

Orange County Choppers, the business featured in the reality series American Chopper is facing foreclousure, as Long Island Press reports. Two members of the Teutul family, founder Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. have been fighiting over money, specifically Jr’s stake in OCC. Now, OCC is facing foreclousure over major debt. The company has allegedly missed several morgage payments, one for $96,400 and another for $14,000. more »

Stunning Royal Enfield from Rajputana Customs

Rajputana Customs is a family-run company in Rajasthan that builds handmade, unique custom-designed bikes. Their latest creation is practically a wedding gift. A guy, Subhayou Nayak wanted to buy himself a little present before the big day, so he sommissioned Rajputana Customs. The company built an old-school looking, stunning Royal Enfield with a 300mm rear tyre. The bike is powered by a 500cc Royal Enfield twinspark engine. more »

Travertson V-Rex 2: the wildest production bike

The Travertson V-Rex was already one of the wildest production bikes, but its updated version, the V-Rex 2 is even weirder. The 2011 version, dubbed the V-Rex 2 features a new steel subframe to support a pillion residing on the rear half of a new seat, as well as new LED taillights. The bike uses a Harley-Davidson engine and H-D electronics. The other features of the bike include digital speedometer, custom paint job and vertical chrome tank decorated in Swarowsky crystals. H&R Erbacher The One chopper: custom machine for $145,000

Swiss company H&R, in cooperation with Fat Attack Custom Bikes have developed a unique machine. Called „The One”, this bike is largely made of titanium, aluminium, carbon, and aircraft steel. During its production attention was paid to every detail to ensure that the materials used are the same as for racing. The weight saving of over 60 kilograms with simultaneously greater stability in its driving characteristics becomes noticeable. more »

2011 Harley-Davidson SuperLow – a new Harley for beginners and girls

Harley-Davidson's top-selling entry-level bike, the XL883L Low, just got better. Harley gave the Low a complete makeover for 2011 to improve its suspension for a softer, more compliant ride. The 883cc V-Twin engine got a few extra Nm's of torque, while the seat height had been increased. The revised bike deserved a new name, the XL883L SuperLow. more »

Suzuki introduced the new 2011 M109R/Boulevard

Japanese manufacturer Suzuki has announced the first wave of 2011 motorcycles, including the leader of the power-cruiser category, the M109 R Boulevard. The 2011 M109 R and M109 R Limited Edition got a few cosmetic touch-ups, like a new instrument cluster with a digital tach and LED indicator light, a gear position indicator, and the relocation of the cluster from the handlebars to the top of the headlight cowl. The 2011 Boulevard is offered in a vandy new Candy Indy Blue finish. more »
