Can-Am developing hybrid Spyder

Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) is investing CN$5.1 million into the Centre de Technologies Avancees BRP at Quebec’s Universite de Sherbrooke as a support to develop hybrid engine technology for BRP’s Can-Am Spyder roadster. Additionally, the Canadien Government will add an extra US$6.1 million into the four-year project. The Can-Am Spyder roadster, first launched in 2007, is a totally unique machine, and the hybrid version will be the only electric hybrid roadster development project in the world. Read the full article »

KTM introduced two new models, the 2011 250 XC-F and 350 XC-F

KTM announced it has expanded its 2011 model lineup with two new off-road models. The bikes were introduced to the public by the Factory FMF/KTM GNCC Team of Kailub Russell, Cory Buttrick and Charlie Mullins. All three riders will be racing the 350 XC-F in the 2011 GNCC Series. The new 2011 XC-F’s are based on the 250 and 350 SX-F models built with specific components and settings for cross-country racing. Read the full article »

Yamaha announces 2011 supercross teams

Yamaha Motor Corporation announced its entire line-up of teams for the 2011 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. Headlining the assault is James Stewart signed a two-year contract with L & M Racing, James is looking forward to winning his second title for Yamaha on his YZ450F. Video: 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R on the racetrack

The completely redesigned ZX-10R is one of the most anticipated superbikes of 2011, and with it's new engine, the bike is faster and lighter than the Japanese competition. Kawasaki had some issues with the new engine, so they put the bike on technical hold, but despite this, the 2011 ZX-10R topped the 651-1000cc sales in many countries in November. The latest innovation in coverage of the Isle of Man TT by North One Television now gives fans the chance to experience the Mountain course like never before.
