Triumph has confirmed its intention to break the motorcycle land speed record at the salt flats of Bonneville, USA, in August 2015. While the current record stands at 376.363 mph, the Triumph team is aiming to surpass that over the measured mile with the Triumph Rocket III Streamliner. The machine is powered by two 2.3 litre Triumph Rocket III engines, producing 1,000hp and it will be ridden by TT legend and adrenaline junkie Guy Martin. Read the full article »

To mark the launch of a new clothing line, Barbour and Triumph have now unveiled the Street Tracker, a custom built Bonneville. UK’s two most famous bike brands have created a custom bike that has a tough image and feels really raw. The bike carries the name „Barbour International Triumph 1 Street Tracker” (shortly BIT1) and celebrates a new clothing line that will be available in Triumph dealerships from August 2015. Read the full article »

With its retro style, the Bonneville looks like a blast from the past. However, despite the classic looks, Triumph made it as modern as possible without ruining the style. It’s brilliant for a days ride, it has bomb proof mechanical reliability, a torquey engine and old-school character. There’s life int he old Bonnie yet. Read the full article »

Triumph added two new Tiger 800 models to expand the range to six with the XRt and XCa versions. Both models are an evolution of the well-known Tiger 800 XC that get a few visual and technical upgrades which set them apart from the standard bikes. The XRt is a bit closer to the sport-adventure category while the XCa is built for tougher off-roading. The two new Tigers will be available in dealers from June 2015. Read the full article »

British brand Triumph is recalling two thousand 2010 Thunderbird models. These motorcycles were built with an incompatible thread locker/screw combination at the front fender mounting. These screws might become loose, and the screw heads can contact the side wall of the front tire, leading to tire deflation, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will install new screws, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided an owner notification schedule. Owners also contact Triumph Customer Service at 1-678-539-8782. Read the full article »

Rizoma has developed a complete kit to the Queen of naked bikes, the new Triumph Speed triple 1050. The most effective components are a mix of risers/handlebars/grips, levers, mirrors, which change completely the „dashboard” look. There are new high-tech EVO rearsets which are perfectly integrated into the frame and allow eight different adjustment options. The articulated connection to the peg houses a tiny screw, which can keep the peg from pivoting for a higher performance on the race track. Read the full article »

According to the latest reviews, the 2011 Daytona 675 R is the Triumph of 2011. For an extra $1,496, you get Öhlins suspension parts, Brembo brakes and standard quick-shifter. It gets its power from a water-cooled 674cc in-line three-cylinder engine, that claims an output of 124 bhp at 12600 rpm and 53 lb.-ft. of peak torque at 11,700 rpm. Other circuit-spec highlights include comprehensive instruments that incorporate a lap timer, and carbon fiber parts – including hugger, silencer heat shield, front mudguard and fairing infill panels. Read the full article »

Three months ago, Triumph introduced the new Thunderbird Storm, and now we have new pictures of the bike. The Storm is eventually the dechromed, stripped down version of the Thunderbird. Triumph's iconic twin headlights, made famous on the Rocket III and Speed Triple models, and drag bars perfectly fit this street rod’s aggressive nature and are complemented by the deep metallic paint. The Storm is powered by a big bore, 1700cc parallel twin engine pumping out 98 hp and a meaty 156 Nm. Read the full article »

British brand Triumph could release a range of small capacity bikes. Visordown says a 125cc prototype was spotted on test with the company’s future big capacity models. The British firm announced last year that it will expand its model ranges from three (Urban Sports, Modern Classics, Cruisers) to seven (Roadsters, Supersports, Adventure, Touring, Classics and Cruisers). Unfortunately, the new prototype hasn’t yet been photographed. With sales of small capacity bikes booming in Asia, a move into the 125cc market could be the best move from Triumph in the last 20 years. Read the full article »

The British brand introduced the newest member of its 2011 lineup, the new Bonneville T100. The iconic model uses a 865cc parallel-twin double overhead camshaft engine that delivers 68hp. Neat retro touches like the fake carburettors that hide the fuel injectors, dummy pushrod tubes and positioning of the ignition key pay respect to Bonneville legend. The two-tone colour options complement the traditional Bonneville styling and have the added touch of gold or silver coachlines, painted by hand just as they always have been. Read the full article »

These are the first pictures of the 2011 Daytona 675R – a high-spec version of Triumph’s supersport bike. The new machine will be the first Triumph equipped with Öhlins suspension. The bike features high-spec Brembo brakes, carbon mudguards, white/black paint scheme, new Triumph logos, and red subrfame. The British marque didn’t release the technical specifications yet, but it is believed the engine is unchanged and the chassis is also unaltered. Rumours suggest the bike get quick-shifter though. Read the full article »

After all sorts of spy shots and official teaser videos we have got the genuine photos of the new Triumph Tiger 800. The bike will have two versions, the standard 800 and the 800XC. On the pictures, we can see the off-road version, the XC, which features 21-inch front wheel with knobby tires and extended front mudguard. The bike will be powered by the Daytona 675’s engine displacing 800cc. The little Tiger will weight about 440lbs and the engine will produce a little less power and a little more torque than the Daytona’s 124hp and 53lb/ft. Read the full article »

Triumph has released two new videos showing their latest bikes, including Tiger 800, Speed Triple, America, Speedmaster and Thunderbird Storm as well as an unknown bike. Rumours suggest that this is Triumph’s newest sports bike, dubbed the Daytona 675R. This could be a tuned version of the standard 675 which will feature higher spec suspension, brakes and meaner looks. Although nothing is official yet, we are pretty sure that the british manufacturer will introduce the new sports bike at the 2010 EICMA show next month. Read the full article »

After three years of hiatus, the Japanese brand has finally bought us the successor of the popular W650 classic bike. The newbie, called the W800 is set to take on Triumph’s Bonneville range. The W800 features a vertical twin engine, large diameter wheels, traditional instrumentation, and lots of metal – plastic was eshewed in favour of metal as much as possible. The W800 uses a lightweight double-crade frame, telescopic fork at the front and dual shock absorbers with adjustable preload. This combination offers a smooth ride and clean look. Read the full article »

Triumph introduced today the 2011 model year Speed Triple, which drops its bug-eyed look. The model features a new aluminium chassis which reduces the weight by about 2 kg. In addition to that, the three-cylinder engine delivers more power and torque. The new numbers are 135hp at 9400rpm and 111 Nm at 7750rpm. Triumph claimes they improved handling, and the riding position is a bit more forward than on the outgoing model. The bike has new Showa 43mm fully adjustable forks, a lower seat position, better brakes from Brembo and optional ABS. Read the full article »

Triumph will reveal shortly an updated version of its long running Speed Triple model. The manufacturer filed new documents with the California Air Resource’s Board (CARB) to certify the new bike emissions and weights. This document reveals a significant change to the models emissions. The 2011 Speed Triple will feature a 1050cc engine – the same as its predecessor, however the new model has more fuel going into the engine, meaning it has been fine tuned for more performance. Read the full article »

The new Tiger 800 was circulating the Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire. The bike is wired up with data-recording equipment, carried in the tail pack. It seems the motorcycle is complete bar final colors and graphics. The bike here is the road version with a 19” front rim – the off-road version will come with a 21” front wheel and knobby tire, plus a „beak” mudguard on the nose. Read the full article »

Keeping with its schedule, Triumph has released some new photos and technical data of its 2011 Adventure. The English manufacturer has created a new, 800-ish, long-stroke three-cylinder engine based on the 675 to power the middleweight road and off-road versions of the bike. The engine should be "torquey", have an "exciting top end", "compact dimensions", "controllable power delivery', all thanks to its long-stroke design.
German Triumph dealer Motorcorner has built a special Street Triple called the Street Tracker. The builders transformed the R version of the Street Triple, and they did a great job, the bike looks just beautiful, although changes were minimal. The engine and the chassis remain unchanged, but the exhaust is an aftermarket piece for a racy sound. The standout specification change is the 17” spoked wheels, which have a unique fastening system. The R-based Street Tracker is on sale for $17 400. Read the full article »
