Piaggio unveiled a new edition of its three-wheeled scooter, the MP3. The special edition, dubbed the MP3 Sport, features white bodywork and contrasting black accents, 10-spoke wheels and a series of other aesthetic changes. The protective fume windshield further enhances the racing look, alongside the ergonomic saddle and red relief stitching. The special edition is available in both 300cc and 400cc variants.

The MP3 Sport got a decisive, gritty look with its sleek white paintwork, while dark details provide sporting accents. The MP3 300 Sport is equipped with the new water-cooled Piaggio single-cylinder 4-stroke 4-valve 300cc engine with electronic injection, definitely more torquey than its 250cc predecessor (delivering 23.2 Nm at 6,500 rpm compared to the 21 Nm of the 250). The 300cc engine boasts Ride by Wire technology, which provides smooth power delivery and enhanced riding comfort. The bigger, 400cc version has a 4-valve, 4-stroke unit with liquid cooling and electronic fuel injection. This engine is the top of the MP3 range with a power output of 34hp at 7500rpm and 37,6Nm at 5500rpm. The price of the Sport edition has yet to be announced.
