Yamaha Motor Corporation announced its entire line-up of teams for the 2011 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. Headlining the assault is James Stewart signed a two-year contract with L & M Racing, James is looking forward to winning his second title for Yamaha on his YZ450F. He’s currently in lock down in Florida putting the finishing touches on his race prep and testing so he can come out with both barrels blazing at Anaheim 1.

Joining Stewart on Team L & M is Texas phenom Kyle Regal. Always a threat to podium outdoors, Regal has spent the last few months honing his Supercross skills turning lap after lap around the Yamaha Supercross test track. For 2011 Star Racing owner Bobby Regan has placed team management reigns in the very capable hands of Allan Brown. Brown has assembled a new roster of riders to take the YZ250F to the front of the Lites Championship. After racing for the team at last year’s Nationals, Gareth Swanepoel is returning from the 2010 season. New members joining Gareth are Ryan Sipes, Kyle Cunningham and rookie sensation Gannon Audette.

Joe Gibbs Racing is back for 2011 with a two man threat of Justin Brayton and Davi Millsaps. Fresh from a off-season that saw him win international races in both Australia and Switzerland, Brayton is looking forward to bringing his podium streak to Anaheim 1. After a rough end to the 2010 season Millsaps has spent the off-season healing up and getting ready for a 450 challenge in 2011. Valli Motorsports owner Chad Lanza is excited about the 2011 season with veteran Nick Wey mentoring 450 Class rookie Austin Stroupe. Both riders being new to the team and they are excited about the possibilities the 2011 season holds.

The MotoConcepts Team ended the 2010 Season on a high with Kyle Chisholm taking home the “Privateer of the Year” honors. Things haven’t cooled off for Chisholm as he took home a well deserved second place at the prestigious Bercy Supercross during the off-season. Another big off-season development for the team was the hiring of David Vuillemin, a highly successful racer in his own right, as team manager. With his wealth of knowledge David will help guide riders Kyle Chisholm, new comer Tommy Hahn and Vince Friese to reach their ultimate goals in 2011.
In addition to fielding an impressive team with Weston Peick, Jared Brown, Drew Yenerich, Joey Rossi, Alex Millican and Jeff Alessi, Rock River Motorsports will once again be on hand at every Supercross supporting Yamaha racers with a wide assortment of OEM parts to ensure that their YZs are running up to their utmost potential.

The season opener gets underway at Angel Stadium in Anaheim on Saturday January 8th.
