Aprilia revealed the new Tuono V4 R APRC – a semi-naked musclebike based around the RSV4 superbike. The bike comes with the Aprilia Performance Rider Control package, which includes traction control, anti-lock brakes, wheelie control, launch control, quick-shifter, and rider-selectable driving modes to the naked V4. The bike features a 1000cc 65-degree V4 engine which delivers 162hp at 11,000rpm and 79.4lbs.-ft. at 9,000rpm, this is 7hp more than the rival Ducati Streetfighter has.

The new Tuono weighs just 394.6lbs with fuel, making the bike a very light package. Other top-line stuff includes Brembo monobloc calipers, meaty 43mm titanium nitride forks and a fully adjustable rear shock. No word yet on pricing or availability.
