Kawasaki has released the first picture of the 2011 Ninja ZX-10R. Unfortunately, this is the race version, so we still don’t have a clue, how the headlights will look like. The japanese engineers are going to test the beast at Suzuka circuit where they will gather info about setting up the bike for race conditions.

The new Ninja will be 10kg lighter than the current version

Rumours suggest the road version gets a new chassis, engine and suspension. With an expected weight of less than 200kg and a reported power of 200hp, the 2011 ZX-10R will be a worthy rival on the 1000cc market. The date of the introduction is still unknown. Meanwhile, the official Kawasaki Racing Team continues development on their 2010 machine.
