In 2011 the Italian manufacturer celebrates 100 years of producing motorcycles. The company created two special editiom models, the TnT 1130 Century Racer and the TnT 899 Century Racer. Both bikes pay homage to the racing legend of Pasolini via a Centenary Green paint scheme which gives the TnT a more sportier attitude. The engineers equipped the Century Racer with fully adjustable Marzocchi fork at the front. The Italians used Brembo radial brakes and yellow rear ahock absorber. Read the full article »

The transformation kit, the creation of Wunderlich’s very own in-house designer, Nicolas Petite, is dominated by an aggressive carbon-fibre fairing and rounded off to perfection by the dynamic side panels. In the innovative XENON headlight, which needs only one bulb, an electro-magnetically actuated shutter makes the switch from low to full-beam. Read the full article »

The Italian manufacturer presented the 2011 Monster 1100 EVO at EICMA show in Milan. The updated bike is lighter and more powerful, and now features standard ABS and Ducati Traction ontrol (DTC). The 2011 Monster weighs just 373lbs, 4lbs less than the 2010 version. The updated engine delivers five extra horsepower, which means the 2011 Monster is the first two-valve Ducati that reaches 100hp. New 10-spoke wheels replace the five-spoke units on the 2010 models, with Pirelli Diablo Rosso remaining the OE tire. Brembo binders now come with ABS as standard, available as an option on previous models. Read the full article »

The Japanese brand finally decided to bring its newest naked model, the CB1000R to the United States. The bike, based on the CBR1000RR, features a fuel-injected four-cylinder 998cc powerplant tuned for loads of right-now power, single-sided swingarm with single-shock rear suspension, plus a wealth of new features that give it its own unique identity. Whether you choose to call it a "naked bike," or a Superbike in Clark Kent clothing, the 2011 CB1000R is the most modern iteration of a long line of much-respected high-performance unfaired four-cylinder bikes—the classic hot-rod Hondas. Read the full article »

Honda has further listened to customers’ desires in the middle-weight class and reintroduced an all-new version of the much-loved CBR600F. In 1987, Honda defined the middleweight sportsbike category with the launch of the CBR600F-H, a bike renowned for its ability to satisfy most riders’ needs, being both sporty in feel and practical in nature. This machine was developed over the years with a number of different ‘versions’ right up to the CBR600F Sport, although the ‘F’ models ceased production in 2006 as customer focus turned more towards the CBR600RR territory. Read the full article »

Ahead of EICMA, BMW released information on the 2011 R 1200 R and R 1200 R Classic naked machines. Generating perceptibly higher torques, the new boxer engine provides an extra boost to temperament. Derived from the BMW HP2 Sport, their new boxer with 1170 cc and DOHC valve gear corresponds to the engines already installed in the BMW R 1200 GS and BMW R 1200 RT. The basic R 1200 R has a sporty character with new cast light alloy wheels, the R 1200 R Classic presents wire spoke wheels for a deliberate touch of refined nostalgia. Read the full article »

The Japanese manufacturer has released a single official illustration of the new GSR 750, a stylish naked middleweight bike that will make its debut in just three weeks. The new model will use a slightly detuned version of the company’s GSX-R 750’s engine. Besides the detuned engine, the bike will miss out the GSX-R 750’s radial-mount brake calipers, and most of the chassis will probably be pared back to meet lower price point. The bodywork and tank design is largely angular, providing the bike an agressive image. Read the full article »

KTM, Zero Motorcycles, Motoczysz - just a few from those old/new manufacturers who started to produce electric two-wheelers in the last couple of years. The electric motorcycles clearly moves the young designers mind, too. This concept belongs to design student Andre Look. The designer used hi-tech materials for the frame and bodywork, four motors and batteries that can swapped in seconds, the bike's power output is 200hp. A secondary motor housed within the swingarm boosts power by a further 25hp. Read the full article »

German Triumph dealer Motorcorner has built a special Street Triple called the Street Tracker. The builders transformed the R version of the Street Triple, and they did a great job, the bike looks just beautiful, although changes were minimal. The engine and the chassis remain unchanged, but the exhaust is an aftermarket piece for a racy sound. The standout specification change is the 17” spoked wheels, which have a unique fastening system. The R-based Street Tracker is on sale for $17 400. Read the full article »
