Husqvarna Mille 3 Concept: a cruiser with a V3 engine

Husqvarna unveiled today the Mille 3 Concept – a lightweight, V3-powered cruiser/sportsbike. The bike, which appears to be a crazy cross between a tracker, a cruiser and a sportsbike, is powered by a 930cc V-triple (one in two cylinders, one vertical cylinder) engine. Husqvarna says, "Emotion is irrational, curiosity is a gift, and anti-conformism is innate. With the concept study "Mille3", Husqvarna has given form to its vision of biking, diverse and – it goes without saying - innovative." Read the full article »

Ducati Diavel prototype revealed

The Ducati Diavel will be officially revealed next month at the Milan EICMA show but thanks to the Ducati News Today, we can show you how the first prototype looked like. The pictures were taken 18 month ago in Los Angeles as the bike was created up for a trip back to Europe. This prototype has only one exhaust and a custom swing arm. The Diavel obviously evolved in the last 18 months and we are curious about the production version of Ducati’s big cruiser. Read the full article »

Kawasaki’s new VN1700 Voyager Custom ABS revealed

The newest edition to the VN1700 line-up, Kawasaki’s first bagger model follows a wide-and-low concept, its design flowing from the front to the rear of the bike. A number of blacked-out parts and numerous original-design styling components give the VN1700 Voyager Custom a hard, sporty image and its own distinct look. The new bike is equipped with Kawasaki’s advanced brake system K-ACT ABS, Electronic Cruise Control, and high-spec iPod-compatible audio system. Read the full article »

Honda unveils 2011 motorcycles

Honda recently revealed a few of its street bikes for the 2011 model year. "The 2011 model year lineup continues to expand for Honda," stated Powersports Press Manager Bill Savino. "Here we have a variety of very popular cruisers and customs, a pair of Honda off-road machines that have remained extremely popular with riders over the years, plus a revamped and very impressive Big Red MUV. The Victory Project 200 is the latest work of California-based Roland Sands Design. From the title it is clear that the basis of the custom bike is a Victory cruiser, and the number 200 indicates the maximum speed of the motorcycle. And not in kilometers. 2011 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Ultra: the bigger the better

Harley-Davidson already introduced its 2011 lineup, but most of the models only got minor changes. But among the big CVO's and touring machines there's a whole new motorcycle, the Road Glide Ultra, which is based on the Road Glide. The new model shares some of the features with the standard model, like the front fairing with halogen headlamps. But don't let the nose fool you, it's a whole new bike. 2011 Harley-Davidson SuperLow – a new Harley for beginners and girls

Harley-Davidson's top-selling entry-level bike, the XL883L Low, just got better. Harley gave the Low a complete makeover for 2011 to improve its suspension for a softer, more compliant ride. The 883cc V-Twin engine got a few extra Nm's of torque, while the seat height had been increased. The revised bike deserved a new name, the XL883L SuperLow. Read the full article »

Suzuki introduced the new 2011 M109R/Boulevard

Japanese manufacturer Suzuki has announced the first wave of 2011 motorcycles, including the leader of the power-cruiser category, the M109 R Boulevard. The 2011 M109 R and M109 R Limited Edition got a few cosmetic touch-ups, like a new instrument cluster with a digital tach and LED indicator light, a gear position indicator, and the relocation of the cluster from the handlebars to the top of the headlight cowl.
