For example, we now know that the bike benefits from a new level of control of the broad power delivery. A ride-by-wire throttle system allows more precise and consistent throttle control, while three engine-mapping setting options allow you to fine-tune the 701\u2019s power delivery for a wide range of possible riding surfaces and weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The 701 Supermoto will be equipped with the new Bosch 9.1 MP ABS system. There will also be an optional supermoto ABS that allows the rear wheel to lock, with full ABS function upfront. Another feature is the slipper clutch that minimize the effects of engine-braking and eliminate annoying \u2018wheel stutter\u2019. The slipper clutch prevents compression braking under deceleration, while maintaining full traction. Greatly improved safety on the road and quicker lap times on the racetrack.<\/p>\n<p>Suspension-wise, a set of 48 mm upside-down forks by WP Performance Systems with 215 mm of travel graces the 701 SUPERMOTO. These easily adjustable forks have separate damping circuits in each fork tube, so compression is damped via the left tube and rebound via the right.
