The strictly minimalist look of the new Vespa S that is reminiscent of the 1970s models has been modernised and enhanced with liveliness and flair in the College version. Spirited, aesthetically captivating and fun-to-ride, the Vespa S College is the Vespa for the young. The handlebar accommodates a rectangular headlamp which is an explicit reference to the extraordinary 50 Special, a teen icon from the fabulous Seventies. Read the full article »

The completely new MV Agusta F3 was recently launched at the world’s biggest and most important motorcycle show, EICMA Milan, where Motociclismo magazine organised a poll to find ‘The Most Beautiful Bike of the Show’. Of over 12,000 votes cast, the F3 captured 39%, nearly twice that of the next entrant and well ahead of every other new model at the show. MV Agusta describes this new model as ‘a work of art on wheels’ and its exceptional styling and advanced technology will take this classic Italian marque into the middleweight supersports category. Read the full article »

Thebike features a whole range of electronics – ride-by-wire with multi maps, traction control. The bike has an advanced frame which incorporates a mix of steel tubing and aluminium side plates that wrap around the ultra compact engine.
Kawasaki will introduce the new Z1000 SX at the Intermot show in Cologne this week, but we already have the first photos of the bike. The new Z1000 SX will be a road-focused sports bike for everyday use, powerful and most likely fun to ride, but not the in the road-going missile class. The bike features a completely revised instrumentation with adjustable screen, an analog tachometer and an adjustable windscreen. Large air intakes dominate the area under the dome. The Z1000 SX will be powered by a 1043cc inline-four engine. More technical details soon. Read the full article »

Triumph will reveal shortly an updated version of its long running Speed Triple model. The manufacturer filed new documents with the California Air Resource’s Board (CARB) to certify the new bike emissions and weights. This document reveals a significant change to the models emissions. The 2011 Speed Triple will feature a 1050cc engine – the same as its predecessor, however the new model has more fuel going into the engine, meaning it has been fine tuned for more performance. Read the full article »

Reliable source close to Suzuki have leaked an artist rendering of what the rumoured all-new 2011 GSX-R 600 and possibly the GSX-R 750 might look like. The Japanese company didn’t confirm when the new GSX-R will be available. The current GSX-R 600/750 was last updated in 2008 so it’s no surprise that the two models will get only minor updates. The biggest changes are the four new air intakes stacked to the sides of the slimmer headlamp. Mechanically, we expect a small weight reduction and an equally small increase of power. We'll have the full details on the new models from Intermot '10 in Germany. Read the full article »

Yamaha fans eagerly awaiting an all-new Yamaha R6 for 2011 are being told they’ll have to wait another year. The Japanese manufacturer is already working on a replacement for the current series, but the bike won’t be on sale until 2012.
