MV Agusta WSBK team’s F4 RC presented

The 2015 World Superbike Championship is just around the corner and MV AGUSTA, the Italian manufacturer with 75 world championship titles, presented at Phillip Island their “Reparto Corse” team, the name of the official factory team taking part in the dual challenge of WSBK and WSS. Ducati Desmosedici GP15 unveiled

Ahead of the forthcoming 2015 MotoGP World Championship season, Ducati have presented the new Desmosedici GP15 prototype at a special event in Bologna, Italy. The riders of the team, Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone, helped unveil the new GP15 that will make its on-track debut at the Sepang 2 test before the end of the month. Read the full article »

Marc Coma wins his fifth Dakar Rally

Catalonian rider Marc Coma cruised in to Buenos Aires a hero after he won his fifth Dakar. The 38-year-old equalled the number of titles held by Cyril Despres and one behind another Frenchman, Stephane Peterhansel. He was followed across the line by Paulo Goncalves on his Honda and Australian Toby Price on another KTM. For KTM, it was their 14th Dakar success but with the re-entrance of Honda and Yamaha, each year is getting more and more difficult for the Austrian manufacturer. Read the full article »

The rebirth of American board-track racing – in Europe

Vintage gear, rare antique Harleys and Indians with no brakes, invitation-only races, leather helmet for protection - this is board-track racing. This type of motorcycle racing had its golden age in the 1910s and 1920s in the U.S. but board tracks proliferated in part because they were inexpensive to construct. 70 years later, the sport experiences a revival in Europe - where this type of racing actually was born. Read the full article »

At the New York International Motorcycle Show, Kawasaki has revealed a one-off Ninja H2R created specifically for eleven-time drag racing champion Rickey Gadson. The special Ninja is truly an amazing bike featuring a 998cc supercharged inline-four, winglets and spoilers and carbon bodywork. The seat is cupped to keep you from being sucked off the back of it. Miller wins final Moto3 round & KTM the Manufacturer´s Title

Red Bull KTM Ajo’s Jack Miller rode a masterly race in the final round of the 2014 Moto3 World Championship to take the win but narrowly missed the title by just two points.
